Waiver to Enroll in 30000 Level Business Courses

Complete this form to request a waiver to begin 1 or 2 upper level business classes while finishing your last 1 or 2 pre-business core classes. This is a one-time exception to the upper-level admission criteria.

This request should be submitted at least 3 weeks before the start of registration for the upcoming semester.

Once you submit this form, your academic record will be reviewed and you will receive an email up to two weeks later indicating whether or not your waiver has been approved. You will not be able to register for upper level business courses until this waiver request is completed and processed.

By submitting this form, I understand that if I do not satisfactorily complete any pre-business requirements or prerequisites that I am currently enrolled in, I can become ineligible for this waiver if I end up with more than 1 or 2 pre-business classes to take in the next term. If you become ineligible, the upper level business classes will be dropped from your schedule.

In addition, if during your waiver semester you fail one of your pre-business courses, you will not be allowed to enroll in any more upper level courses until the pre-business course has been successfully completed.
